A classic San Francisco City Hall wedding in San Francisco is a truly special experience. It’s a beautiful location with a stunning architecture that makes for the perfect backdrop for your big day. Couples who choose to tie the knot at City Hall are looking for a classic and timeless feel for their wedding and city hall is an iconic piece of San Francisco’s history. The grandness of the building, the elegant staircase, and the ornate details all lend themselves to a sense of occasion and importance.
As a photographer, my job is to capture the essence of your wedding day and all the emotions that come with it. When I shoot weddings at City Hall, I’m always struck by the beauty of the location and how it makes every couple look simply stunning. I love playing with the light, the shadows, and all of the intricate details to create timeless photos that will be cherished for decades to come.
This couple was such a dream to work with and wanted to prioritize time for portraits of them which is my favorite part of a wedding. They had a very sweet first look in the building and then we had time for some portraits before their ceremony in the rotunda. After the ceremony we did some family photos and then finished up with portraits of them around and outside of City Hall before heading to the Legion of Honor for an outfit change and some additional photos.
