Hi, I’m Samantha

I started my photography journey in Japan back in 2018. At the time, my husband was a Navy fighter pilot and we were living on a military base in Iwakuni. I was looking for something to do while he was deployed so I started my business on a whim. I had no idea how much I would love being a photographer or how my business would grow in the years to come but I was grateful for the chance to be creative. In 2020, I learned how to photograph on medium format film which I have been using ever since. In 2021, I moved my business back to San Francisco and spent the next few years building it up. In 2025, we purchased our home in Santa Rosa and I have since expanded my business from primarily San Francisco to include the Sonoma, Napa and Mendocino counties. 

My background in art helps inform my style which has been described as romantic, soft and timeless. Each session gives me the opportunity to create a set of images that represents your love and connection in an authentic and natural way. To do that, I combine posed, candid and directed images to create a cohesive gallery filled with depth and beauty. Please contact me to learn more.
