As a fine art film photographer my focus is on capturing genuine moments and memorializing your day in a way that both feels authentic and looks beautiful. To achieve that, my approach is to direct you when necessary while allowing space for the day to unfold and for you to be present in it. I tend to be non invasive in my approach, a calm and steady presence in the background. After years of photographing different types of weddings, I’ve found a soft spot for smaller events – an elopement with just the two of you or a gathering with a group of your closest friends and family. I’m here to capture your love, the feeling of your day, the moments you might miss and the ones that you are completely wrapped up in so you can experience them again and again.

I am currently taking on weddings in San Francisco and further north to include Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties. I prefer days that are short and sweet with a limited number of guests. I love natural light, private vows and intimate dinners. Please read on and let me know if you have any questions about working together.

I shoot a mix of film and digital for weddings. Film is soft and beautiful and is always used for portraits and details. Digital is helpful for quick moments throughout the ceremony and family formals. Both are utilized throughout and edited to match creating a cohesive and complete gallery.

My pricing is simple. The first hour is $1800 and additional hours are $500 each. Please contact me for a custom quote.

I don’t take anything more than a year in advance. I accept only a small amount of weddings per year so I am often able to take on short notice bookings.

After your images are processed by the film lab they will be scanned digitally and sent back to me. I’ll edit your digital images to match the film and upload the high res images to an online gallery where you can view and download. It typically takes about 6 weeks.

I prefer small, intimate events – under 8 hours and less than 50 people. If your wedding aligns with that I would love to chat!
