Newborn sessions are so special – this phase goes by so quickly and it’s something you definitely want to make sure to document whether you decide on an indoor or outdoor session. I do a combination of indoor and outdoor newborn sessions but today I wanted to share an outdoor session as a lot of people often ask about those. If you don’t want your home photographed, don’t have great light or there’s just a beautiful spot outside that you want family photographs at, an outdoor session might be a better choice for you. Here’s another outdoor newborn session that I shot at the Sutro Baths.
This session was shot at Baker Beach which is one of the most popular places that I shoot at. Everyone loves the beach and the view of the Golden Gate is so magical. We typically do these outdoor newborn sessions around 6 weeks and this was shot entirely on film. I offer newborn sessions as stand alone or they can be combined with maternity or a milestone session later on.
