It’a crazy to think about how many evenings I’ve seen the sunset at Baker Beach over the last 5 years of running my business here in San Francisco. On a clear night, this is one of the prettiest places in the city and I feel so lucky that it’s essentially my office. Baker Beach is one of, if not the most popular location for my sessions, clients love having the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in the background and it’s also an easy spot for photos in terms of parking and not having to walk too much. It can definitely get chilly and is nearly impossible to photograph during the summer months when the fog is in full swing and covering up the bridge but it’s worth waiting for a clear night to get these dreamy soft colors. I loved shooting this maternity session at Baker Beach. This is another one of my first year collection clients, so I got to do newborn photos in their home a few months after this session. My first year collection is for expecting as well as new parents and allows you to schedule multiple sessions within the first year.
