In March, these two got married at city hall in San Francisco! We met a year prior for their engagement session at Filoli Garden and I was thrilled to be able to see them again for their city hall wedding. City Hall is beautiful year round but I often get asked what time day has the best lighting and what time people should schedule their ceremony for. This ceremony took place in March at 3:30pm. I often recommend the 3:30pm spot if you can get it as the building is usually less busy. Plus, the outside lighting at that time is usually really nice in case you want to take any pictures outside. The lighting inside of the building is fairly consistent year round but of course during the holidays you’ll have the big Christmas tree in the rotunda. You can check out this December city hall wedding if you want to see what the building looks like during the holidays or check out my city hall info page.
This was my one hour session which included the simple ceremony, photos with immediate family and bride and groom photos at the end. If you’re interested in having me photograph your city hall wedding and want more information, you can reach out here. I hope you enjoy the photos from this March wedding at city hall!
