This shoot was one of my favorite Motherhood Sessions yet. I shot the whole thing on film at the Nishiki River in Japan. I’ve been doing a lot of my sessions here lately because it’s beautiful, quiet and I really love how the colors come out. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I’ll be leaving Japan and moving back to San Francisco this fall. I can’t wait to get back to California and the abundance of beautiful spots to shoot but I know I’ll miss the peacefulness of the Japan countryside and I’ll be forever grateful I got to experience it. These sessions will always be special to me.
