Santa Barbara Natural History Museum Wedding with Rooftop Reception at MOXI
This wedding was such a dream for me to photograph, not only was it at two stunning locations in Santa Barbara – the Natural History Museum and the MOXI – but it was also the wedding of our good friends and it was such a joy to be a part of.
Alex and Lisa had their ceremony at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum. It’s a really pretty venue with classic Spanish architecture and lush gardens. They exchanged vows under the oak trees with their closest friends and family, it was intimate and beautiful. After a quick stop at the colorful tile steps downtown for a few photos, we headed to the MOXI for their reception. The MOXI rooftop has gorgeous views of Santa Barbara and the most incredible light with the sun setting behind the hills. It was the perfect place for their guests to enjoy dinner and dance the night away.
This wedding was so fun and full of beautiful details. From the amazing venues, colorful flowers, sword arch and military uniforms, to one of the best dance parties we’ve witnessed, it was really a special day. This wedding was a true celebration of love and I am so grateful to have been a part of it.
